Taiwan - Liu Fu Theme Park & Taipei

At night, we stayed in a flower resort. It is very nice and is the nicest hotel stayed for this trip. There are flowers everywhere. The rooms are tatami houses on water and at night can hear the swans swimming. The rooms are also very big and cosy.

Strange robot made of greenery and flowers.

After leaving the resort, we then went to Liu Fu Theme Park (btw Puli and Taipei).

We are actually not very interested in theme park but just go there because it is one of the itinerary.

 Roller Coaster!

M and me take turns to feed horses and goats.

The small goat squeeze out of the gate waiting for us to feed!

We went for lunch at a western restaurant. There are performances by some caucasian dance group. The lunch is quite cheap when converted to Singapore dollars. Later i still went to eat some fast food at a nearby fast food chain but it is not nice.

After 4 hours at the Park, we left for Taipei City.

                                                         .
Tour guide bring us to see the famous monument

As there are some commotion there, we quickly take photos and left the place immediately (scared got riots as there are recently some political riots around that area).

Then we proceed to Xi Men Ding, a shopping district for the youngsters.

Famous Ai Zhong Mee Sua

We then went shopping around for 2 hours. Tour guide then bring us to the famous Shi Lin Night Market. As there are many people around and to avoid pickpockets, we have not taken any photographs.

After that, we proceed to a 4 star hotel, Golden China Hotel at Taipei City.

The following day, our last day at Taiwan, Tour guide bring us to Jiu Feng, an outskirt of Taipei.

Here, we see nice sea view.

Then we went further up a hill (have to change to a local bus in order to go up) to Jiu Feng bazaar. There are many food and eateries but not very interesting as it is overcrowded and several tourists are elbowing people around/pushing people to get through. We did bought many fruit jelly and tarts from a shop recommended by tour guide (we tried and it is really nice).
At our trip down the hill, the local bus is overcrowded and there is no space for me to sit. I have to hold on to my dear life as the bus datona down the steep winding hill.

After that, we went back to Taipei and shop at Taipei 101, New York New York and other shopping centres. Nothing much to see becos most of the brands are already in Singapore and their shopping malls are smaller than ours.

After that, we went back to hotel with the tour group after a dinner at a 5 star unique restaurant.
It was about 9pm and as we do not want to waste time, we took cab to Wu Fen Pu Night market and the items sold are much cheaper than Shilin Night market even though the items are similar. It is half price of Shilin Night market stuff, we understand from tour guide that the items from Shilin are from Wu Fen Pu Night market. We have a good time shopping as there are fewer people (the time is late already and it is a sunday night). Then we went to Cheng Ping Bookstore around 12 plus (the bookstore is open 24 hours). Nothing much in the bookstore as most are chinese language books.
Finally, we then went back to hotel and packed all our stuff.. next morning we caught a flight back to Singapore (on the same airline) but this time it is a bigger plane and there are individual TVs for each seat, so can choose the movie we wanna watch individually. Not a bad trip!
